
Use Terre Exotique’s crushed chipotle chilli pepper to add smokey heat to stews, Mexican moles, rubs for meat, or even Welsh rarebit! Grown in Mexico, these chillies are also called jalapeno chillies. Once dried, the very hot chillies are smoked with pecan wood – the finished pepper flakes are sweet, strong and smokey.
Use these crushed chipotle chilli flakes to make chilli oil at home – wonderful drizzled over cold sesame noodles, steamed or peanut butter on toast. Alternatively, pair chipotle chilli flakes with pan-fried sea bass, or sprinkle a pinch over chocolate tortes.
