Ekro is part of the Dutch family-owned company, the Van Drie Group. The Van Drie Group is globally-oriented, but works locally – with companies in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy and Germany. The Van Drie Group is characterised by chain integration: the company has control over all the links of the production. Its various subsidiaries produce veal and beef, animal feed, raw dairy materials and calf skins. The Van Drie Group also trades in dairy products for industrial use and assists dairy farmers in rearing their calves.
