Maison Ponthier has selected a red-stemmed rhubarb of the Frambosa variety, particularly sweet, tangy and rich in fibre. Grown on black soil in southern Poland, located between 300m and 500m above sea level and offering a continental climate in spring, this rhubarb is freshly harvested when ripe. It is then delicately stripped and cut below the leaves and above the uprooting cut so that its petioles are neither injured nor marked with brown.
