Laudemio

In the Middle Ages Laudemio was known as the ‘flower’ of the harvest and was traditionally only served at the Lord’s table. The Laudemio extra virgin olive oil of the Gonnelli family, Tuscan olive growers since 1585, is produced according to the strict rules of the Laudemio Consortium of Tuscany.

The result is a superb extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality. To the nose there are intense, fruity aromas of fresh olives. To taste, the Laudemio is elegant and balanced with a strong sensation of fresh olive, together with a herbaceous presence and light notes of green tomato.

This is an excellent oil for simply enjoying as a dipping oil, or for finishing a summer salad. It is also an excellent pairing on risotto, pumpkin flan and artichokes.

A delicious oil which domes in a high quality box, making is a great gift!
