Bimi is a very distinctive vegetable. You will not come across it growing naturally, because it was created by crossing two other vegetables. But you will undoubtedly recognise one of its parents: broccoli. The other parent is a little less known, as kailan is mainly used as a leafy vegetable in Chinese cuisine.
