In 1974 Henri Willig started making his now world-famous cheese in Katwoude. From the very beginning, Henri Willig has been progressive in the development of new products. In the early 80’s he was the first cheesemaker to bring him the Gouda-style cheese made from goat’s milk. A recipe for success!
Gouda cheese with cumin seeds belongs to the typical Dutch breakfast. No cereal for us, we prefer a sandwich with this delicious cheese. Kids love it and you will love it as well. When the sun goes down, this cheese goes well with some mustard and a glass of red wine.
