By the late 1880s, English traders were making repeated complaints about the Danish Eggs being half or fully rotten when they arrived in England. Led by visionary teacher Frederik Moller, Danish Andelei-Export was founded to save the export of Danish Eggs. Strict quality requirements for the producers, the introduction of egg stamping and good sorting were the
decesive factors in the company’s success for more than 125 years.
